Well, a HTML website is the general standard of markup language for websites, and it's how most websites are built. You are looking at a HTML website as you read this.
A HTML website consists of a set of pages containing text, images and sometimes multi media, which are linked to each other using a set of hyperlinks. These hyperlinks can be in the form of single words or sentences that you can click to find out more information, to links displayed in the form of a menu, much like our at the top of the page.
